Meet The Team

Mike Grugan began his career in the finance industry in 2002 and has dedicated himself to helping good people plan for and deal with the issues of retirement. As a partner of Karr Barth Associates Private Client Group, in alliance with Equitable Advisors, Mike believes in the importance of financial education – the cornerstone of his practice.

It is this mentality that has helped Mike give his clients the power to make educated and informed financial decisions that will affect them and their families for generations.

Mike enjoys working with good people who need help growing, utilizing, and passing on their wealth.  As a Certified Financial Planner™ Professional, he looks at a family’s or business’ situation from many angles in order to help them gameplan for potential problems or opportunities.  A passion of Mike’s is serving those who serve others.  He has dedicated his time to working with first responders, police officers and fire fighters, providing them with the knowledge and tools to help them take control of the futures for which they work so hard.

After gathering the facts and listening to his clients’ concerns and ambitions, Mike is not only able to use his knowledge and experience, but he is also able to leverage the 200 years of combined experience of his eight partners and their staff.  Along with Mike, they make up Karr Barth Associates Private Client Group. Their talents work harmoniously, in order to provide strategies for individuals and businesses designed to grow, utilize, and transfer their wealth.

Mike grew up caddying and played golf at LaSalle University where he earned his degree in finance from their School of Business.  He is also a graduate of the American College, where he earned his Certified Financial Planner™ professional designation. 

He currently lives in Bucks County, PA with his wife and three children.
